Enquiries are accepted from potential residents, their relatives or representatives.

Potential residents are encouraged to visit Lordington Park prior to admission, however we accept that this may cause difficulties for residents who live a considerable distance away. Mrs. Rutland or Mrs. Smith are available to answer any queries you may have either during a viewing or by telephone. Viewing of our Home is normally undertaken during office hours.
Assessment procedures are undertaken with all residents to ensure that Lordington Park can meet their needs.
A full assessment of needs is undertaken within 24 hours of admission, this will include detail of basic medical history, current medication and treatment. Essential health data will be recorded together with personal details and next of kin. A personal care plan will be drawn up with the resident.
Financial arrangements will be discussed with the resident or their representative.
The resident or their representative will be required to agree and sign a contract of terms and conditions of accommodation.
We are sorry but emergency admissions are not accepted.
Residents’ Care Plans
The individual care plan for each resident is reviewed on a monthly basis unless circumstances and changes in care dictate that evaluation should take place more regularly.
Where residents prefer to retain responsibility for medicines, and the manager is satisfied that they are competent to do so, the resident will regulate the supply and use of her/his own medicines although the manager will give every assistance necessary. Lordington Park has a system in place for the control, supply and use of medicines and will use this if a resident is unable or unwilling to handle their own medication.
