Welcome

A very warm welcome to Lordington Park,

From our family, to you, welcome. Introduced to the family in 1984, three generations of our family have called Lordington Park home, and now we are opening our doors to you, we welcome muddy boots and worn jackets after a good adventure in the countryside here!

The decision to create a boutique bed and breakfast here, allowed us to breathe a new lease of life into our family home and was a natural progression for us.

Not only does the launch of the B&B give the house a new purpose, but it allows us to preserve it, keeping it in our family for years to come. Country homes are notoriously expensive to run, and so diversifying in such a way, helps us to keep it’s story alive and we hope you’ll be a part of that.

A family affair

A subtle, high-end home away from home

We had a vision for our B&B, but we had a budget, and so we got creative. When it came to the design of our rooms, we wanted to choose classic pieces in keeping with the house. With this in mind, we wanted to bring our vision to life in a sustainable way, Jessica lovingly handmade all of our curtains, and so much of the furniture in the rooms has been up cycled and repurposed during the renovation process.

Nature

Sharing our sanctuary, with you

The enchanting beauty of Lordington Park really needs to be seen to be believed, having grown up here, we know how special this place is, and being able to share it now, with people from across the world, is a genuine privilege.

Hunker down by the comforting crackle of the fire after a morning of exploring one of our recommended walks or enjoy the breathtaking night sky above you made magical with the little light pollution around us, there is so much slow-living to embrace experience here at Lordington Park, we can’t wait for you to come, stay and see for yourself.

Pet Friendly

We welcome four-legged friends,

Dogs and horses have long been at the heart of Lordington Estate, Charlie has a flock of collies to help him work his sheep, Harriet and Jessica have their little canine sidekicks and our family has successfully run a small livery yard for many years, tucked away behind the main house.

We are perhaps the most dog-friendly B&B in West Sussex, and have also created an enclosed dog paddock in the grounds near to the house, so that you can let your dog off the lead without worrying.

For those looking to bring your horse on holiday, we are pleased to be able to offer this. Given our rural location we have incredible hacking routes and direct access to the South Downs Way making us a popular destinations for people looking to take their horses on holiday.
